Current Frontrunner and The Obama Abyss

I’M GUESSING ROMNEY / BROWN WILL BE THE REPUBLICAN Ticket CANDIDATES IN 2012
I don’t think the party can stand the humiliation of having Palin run again. The ultra-liberal lap-dog press will crucify her even more brutally than they have in the past; just because they will have had more time and resources to find out all about her every move since birth.
Remember: Her experience is as mayor of a city with a population of about 5,000 (at the time), and less than 2 years as governor of a state with about 670,000 residents.
In addition, she and her family will have had that much more time to make complete fools of themselves all by themselves – as the new “BEVERLY HILLBILLIES”. Expect four ghost-written tell all books from the Wasilla-clan by 2014… followed by the soft sound of them all fading back into the Alaska woodlands to practice procreation full time, living off residuals and movie rights cash.
Romney’s problem is his religion. It ain’t politically correct to bring it up – but it is hanging there like a smoked ham. I do not think he can overcome it in the general election – but more importantly he can’t get to the general election until he overcomes it in the Republican nomination process. I don’t think so. Too bad – right now he has the best shot at winning.
One thought: good strategy would be to dredge out as much talk as possible about his father - George W. Romney was an American businessman and Republican Party politician. He was chairman of American Motors Corporation from 1954 to 1962, the 43rd Governor of Michigan from 1963 to 1969, and the United States Secretary of Housing and Urban Development from 1969 to 1973. He was and still is well regarded in both conservative and Republican circles and we are about to head into the biggest “nostalgia” era in Republican history – yearning for the “good old days” when the country had a future and was not about to fall into the ditch that will be forever known as the Obama Abyss.
