Ever notice how B. H. Obama always sounds like a high school sophomore trying to emulate a college professor? He tries SO hard to sound professorial and pontificate on his much clearer and more intellegent view of all things.
But it comes down to this: he is/was a specialist. A get-elected specialist. We’ve all seen literally hundreds of them before. Absolutely brilliant at getting themselves elected.
Then we all discover much to our shock, surprise and dismay, that there is nothing but the marketing campaign, that there is nothing under the marketing campaign, that there is nothing after the marketing campaign, nothing new, nothing of value, nothing remotely like change or progress or a refreshingly different and unique perspective – a better perspective than the same old same old Washington DC mantra of blame it on the other guy.
In Obama’s case, the change we were led to believe we could believe in turned out to be a change alright. A change from classic DC idiocracy to classic 1920’s Chicago mob gang warfare; and “you are with us, signing on to our code of silence and corruption – or you’re the enemy, and you will soon be our dead enemy.”
That’s some change. That’s some presidency. Yes we can: see right through it.
