This is precisely why she is in jail followed by rehab = because you steadfastly refuse to allow her to get in touch with the common, with reality, with real life. Instead you insist on insulating her from how life is supposed to work for common folk or even uncommon folk, which we ALL are!
Get over yourself. You are NOTHING and NOBODY, even when you are trying to live vicariously through your daughter’s success. Lindsay’s success is NOT yours – but her failure is – you invented it, you delivered it, your gawd-awful parenting is why she is in the mess she is in now!
